Clinical Data Analyst II – Healthcare Quality & Outcomes Analytics. Location: On-site in Los Angeles, California, United States. Overview: L.A. Care Health Plan, established in 1997, is an independent public agency serving over 2 million members in Los Angeles County. The organization aims to provide access to quality health care for vulnerable communities and operates the nation’s largest publicly operated health plan. Job Summary: The Clinical Data Analyst II supports quality and process improvement by producing healthcare outcome measurements for internal and external reporting. Responsibilities include data warehouse development, data quality assurance, process programming, specification documentation, and report development. The role requires the ability to design, develop, and generate ad hoc or production reports, and may involve complex data analysis/integration projects with periodic maintenance. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and generate ad hoc/production reports; create automated SAS procedures; maintain data analysis/integration projects; collaborate with Information Systems analysts to ensure production-ready reports; interpret and document specifications; interview clients to gather details for data queries; understand relationships among encounters, claims, membership, and provider data; support quality improvement activities including quarterly reports comparing outcomes to targets or national benchmarks (NCQA, CHC).
