As a Backend Engineer, you will join a small, autonomous, highly collaborative Agile team and build scalable, maintainable microservices and features. You’ll own what you deliver, ensuring the quality, resilience, and maintainability of your services throughout their lifecycle. You will collaborate with product designers, product owners, and frontend, backend, and mobile engineers to share ideas and deliver product innovations. You will design, deploy, and improve backend services with a focus on high availability, low latency, and data consistency, and you will contribute to API design and relational data modeling (SQL). The role is based in Lisbon in a hybrid setup (minimum two days per week in the office).
