Associate Software Engineer – Python & Data Analytics (on-site in Charlotte, NC). This role designs, develops, tests, and maintains Python-based software and data analytics solutions that support brokerage business processes, operations, and decision-making. You will translate brokerage data and user needs into scalable, reliable applications, data pipelines, analyses, and reporting capabilities. You will collaborate with Brokerage product, operations, risk, data, and technology partners to deliver solutions that meet business requirements, data-quality standards, and applicable financial-services controls.

Key responsibilities: - Design, develop, test, and maintain Python applications, data pipelines, analytics routines, and reporting solutions for Brokerage products. - Acquire, cleanse, transform, reconcile, and analyze brokerage data from internal and external sources. - Produce reusable analyses, dashboards, and data products to monitor performance, service levels, exceptions, risk indicators, and trends. - Work with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical and analytical solutions. - Apply software engineering practices: modular design, source control, peer review, automated testing, documentation, and secure development standards. - Implement data-quality checks, lineage, reconciliation, exception handling, and audit-ready controls for a regulated broker-dealer environment. - Troubleshoot defects and production incidents; perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions. - Participate in the full delivery lifecycle from requirements to deploy
