Assistant Project Manager – Critical Infrastructure is a remote, United States-based role supporting the planning, execution, and delivery of mission-critical construction projects under the direction of a Project Manager. The role focuses on defined portions of project execution, including RFIs, submittals, schedules, procurement coordination, and change management, while gaining exposure to full project lifecycle responsibilities. This position is designed for a developing project professional who can work independently within scope, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and escalate risks as needed, with the goal of progressing to a Project Manager.

Essential duties include: - Project Execution & Coordination: manage assigned workstreams, prepare and track RFIs and submittals, support kickoff activities, coordinate with field teams, vendors, and subcontractors, and track action items. - Schedule, Procurement & Cost Support: assist with schedule development and milestone tracking; support procurement activities and material lead times; assist with cost tracking, change orders, and internal reporting; identify potential impacts and escalate early. - Field & Stakeholder Interface: interact professionally with clients, general contractors, subcontractors, and vendors; participate in site walks, coordination meetings, and progress reviews; communicate project plans and priorities. - Documentation, Reporting & Closeout: maintain project documentation and trackers; assist with progress reports and client deliverables; support closeout activities and turnover; contribute
