Versatex is seeking an Area Sales Manager to develop and maintain relationships with distributors and dealers, generating awareness of and demand for Versatex Trim and Siding products among builders, architects, remodelers and contractors in the Ohio River Valley. This is an individual contributor role that reports to a Regional Sales Manager.

What You’ll Do: - Develop and manage a target list of dealers, architects, builders, remodelers and contractors/installers. - Maintain an aggressive end-user call schedule throughout the year; meet with end users to promote Versatex products and services. - Provide in-field training to builders, remodelers, installers and other end users as appropriate. - Develop and maintain relationships with distributor management and distributor sales representatives; schedule and conduct field sales calls. - Create distributor plans, monitor performance and take corrective action when necessary. - Train dealer and distributor representatives. - Consult with distributors and dealers regarding use of marketing and promotional funds. - Respond to end user questions about products, availability, applications and terms in a timely manner. - Assist with warranty claims in the field by coordinating with the warranty team. - Induce end users to trial Versatex products and convert them to ongoing customers. - Generate, track and coordinate opportunities with local dealers and their sales representatives; support product displays in the field. - Represent the company at trade shows regionally/nationally. - Prepare sales analysis reports; maintain Outlook
