Applications and Support Engineer

Description Acculogic, a global developer and supplier of precision-engineered testing solutions for automotive, defense/aerospace, industrial, life sciences, and telecom markets, is seeking an Applications and Support Engineer.

About the Role The Applications and Support Engineer serves as the technical interface between Acculogic and customers for flying probe, in-circuit, and boundary-scan test equipment. This role is based in Portland, Oregon, United States, and, working with the business development and technical support teams, provides both pre-sales and post-sales support. Prior experience with automated test equipment (ATE) for electronics is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities - Pre-sales: customer demonstrations, evaluations and benchmarks; development of test applications; presenting Acculogic tools at trade shows and seminars to promote the technology and enhance customer awareness. - Post-sales: phone support, equipment installation, preventative maintenance, fault identification and repair, installation of upgrades, and training delivery. - Develop test projects for circuit board testing. - Contribute to product and test procedure development. - Collaborate with software development, engineering, sales and others to implement fixes and enhancements. - Writing technical documentation, application notes, and training materials. - Extensive travel required domestically and internationally; travel >50%.

Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field. - 1–4 years of relevant experience.
