Salesforce is seeking a K-12 Account Executive to partner with districts, CMOs, nonprofits, and independent schools to evangelize Salesforce solutions and drive customer success. This quota-carrying sales role combines account strategy leadership with individual contribution, covering a defined geography and named accounts. Responsibilities include serving as the subject matter expert for how K-12 institutions leverage Salesforce, aggressively prospecting and establishing new contractual relationships, developing and executing sales plans, collaborating with Account and Territory teams, driving revenue within a region or list of named accounts, generating opportunities through networking and outreach, owning the sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure, meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual quotas, building brand awareness through campaigns and networking, maintaining accurate forecasts, and ensuring customer satisfaction and contract retention. Requirements include at least 5 years of enterprise EdTech sales; proven success as both an individual contributor and in a team environment; ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment; strong professional presence and business acumen; experience selling at the C-level (Superintendents, CTOs, CIOs, procurement and executive management); ability to collaborate with solution engineering to create compelling demonstrations; proficient in online meetings and conference calls; willingness to travel up to 35%.
