About the role

Senior Software Engineer responsible for the analysis, design, development and delivery of software solutions in a payments technology environment, in alignment with Mastercard standards, processes and best practices. Defines requirements for new applications, develops, customizes and tests software to integrate with Mastercard specifications, and provides leadership, mentoring and technical training to team members.

Plan, design and develop technical solutions to meet business requirements while adhering to Mastercard standards.
Lead day-to-day development and maintenance to meet SLAs, delivering high-quality, cost-effective solutions with faster time to market.
Manage the full software development life cycle, including requirements, use cases, design, test strategy, release rollout and deployment plans, contingency/back-out plans, feasibility studies, cost/time estimates.
Perform maintenance, production incident management, root cause analysis and on-call support; select appropriate technical frameworks and delivery methodologies.
Coordinate offshore development and manage day-to-day activities; conduct knowledge transfer and provide technical training.
Promote QA/QC processes, ensure adequate test coverage, and conduct reviews (requirements, design, code, security) to ensure compliance with Mastercard standards.
Contribute to roadmaps; research and evaluate current and upcoming technologies; participate in PoCs; collaborate with vendor resources.
