Overview: A partner company is seeking an Engineering Team Lead, Electrical to be based in the United States. This leadership role guides and develops electrical engineering teams working on complex mission-critical infrastructure projects, combining technical expertise with people leadership to mentor engineers, improve processes, and deliver exceptional project outcomes in a fully remote environment. The role supports hyperscale data center and advanced infrastructure initiatives where precision, reliability, and innovation matter.
Provide day-to-day technical leadership and mentorship to assigned electrical engineering teams, support professional growth, and drive project success. Lead onboarding and ramp-up for new engineers, participate in recruitment, and ensure knowledge sharing and continuous learning. Coordinate workload planning, resources, and project priorities with department leadership. Establish and reinforce standardized workflows, design practices, quality standards, and accountability expectations. Execute advanced electrical design activities including power distribution design, equipment selection, infrastructure layouts, specifications, and technical documentation. Support project execution from design through construction by reviewing drawings, responding to RFIs, evaluating submittals, and assisting with closeout activities. Manage design teams by coordinating resources, monitoring schedules, identifying risks, and supporting cost control.
