Full Charge Bookkeeper needed for Milner Technologies, Milner Family Holdings, and Gato in Peachtree Corners, Georgia. The role is responsible for data entry of all accounts payable, cash, and credit card transactions using QuickBooks, ConnectWise, QB Connection, and for multi-state sales tax reporting, under the direction of the Controller and CFO. Full Charge Bookkeeper needed for Milner Technologies, Milner Family Holdings, and Gato in Peachtree Corners, Georgia. The role is responsible for data entry of all accounts payable, cash, and credit card transactions using QuickBooks, ConnectWise, QB Connection, and for multi-state sales tax reporting, under the direction of the Controller and CFO. This position offers a clear growth path to Assistant Controller within 12 months and to Controller within 24 months. A hands-on approach, strong technical accounting skills, attention to detail, and proactive financial management and reporting are essential.
Key responsibilities include: - Accounts Payable: enter vendor bills in QuickBooks; reconcile vendor statements; liaise with department heads and vendors; obtain missing bills and clarify remittance. - Accounts Receivable: post cash receipts to QuickBooks; provide weekly updates to the customer service and collections teams; supply information for cash postings when remittances are not provided. - Financial Accounting & Reconciliations: support intercompany transactions and reconciliations; assist with monthly balance sheet reconciliations including credit card activity; support the Controller in resolving discrepancies. - Cash & Banking Oversight: assist in monitoring cash activity and ensure proper recording; support bank reconciliations and internal controls. - Sales & Other Tax: prepare monthly/quarterly/annual sales tax for MTI and MDP; assist with tax planning, audits, and property tax reporting.
