This on-site role leads the design and delivery of multi-discipline transportation projects for public-sector clients, including complex engineering design tasks, marketing, business development, client contact, and sustained growth of the transportation design team. The Senior Project Manager will supervise project managers and engineers, develop project work plans and budgets, coordinate schedules for multiple concurrent projects, and ensure on-time and on-budget delivery. Responsibilities include reviewing project metrics, managing invoicing, implementing QA/QC procedures, participating in contract bidding, and providing limited observation during construction. The role also involves representing clients in meetings with governmental agencies, writing proposals, preparing qualification packages, leading interviews, recruiting and mentoring staff, and building relationships with clients and strategic partners. The candidate will lead business development activities, negotiate contract terms with TxDOT and other governmental entities, and uphold the division, regional, and company values. Requirements include a BS in Civil Engineering, a Texas Professional Engineer license, and 10+ years of progressive experience in transportation design and project management. Travel to project sites and other Westwood offices across the United States may be required.
