Auto Driveaway, one of the largest professional driveaway companies in the United States, is seeking an energetic Driver Recruiter to source and onboard drivers while assisting with safety compliance duties. This role maintains a diverse, engaged professional driver network essential to Auto Driveaway’s operations and customer experience. With safety as a core value, the Driver Recruiter will also help monitor compliance activities to ensure drivers are in full compliance with FMCSA regulations and operate safely and professionally.

Based in Elkhart, Indiana, this on-site role supports nationwide driveaway services for fleets, dealerships, upfitters and OEMs, delivering door-to-door vehicle relocation.

Responsibilities

Driver Recruitment: Recruit professional drivers for all asset types (DOT and CDL capable); screen applications via phone and/or in-person interviews; collaborate with internal stakeholders to align driver capacity with forecasted volume and projects; develop driver utilization metrics; establish a driver engagement platform; partner with the safety and compliance team on onboarding and training; explore new recruiting opportunities using traditional and non-traditional methods.
Sourcing & Outreach: Use cold-calling, direct sourcing, networking, job fairs, employment agencies, internet research, and postings to grow the driver pool.
Collaboration: Actively participate in driver recruitment initiatives; communicate proactively with business partners; provide reporting and analytics; contribute to Auto Driveaway’s reputation as the driveaway company of
