This role focuses on designing and developing scalable backend services using Python (and C#), leveraging Azure cloud services such as Functions, App Services, storage, and identity capabilities to build reliable solutions. You will design APIs and integrate back-end components with internal and customer-facing platforms, applying sound software engineering practices to deliver secure, maintainable, and production-ready back-end systems. You will troubleshoot performance, reliability, and scalability issues across services and cloud-based workloads, identify bottlenecks, and continuously improve the efficiency, resilience, and observability of back-end systems. Requirements include at least 5 years of experience as a software engineer, a master's degree in computer science or a related technical field, strong Python and/or C# coding skills, and excellent English communication. The role requires independent work and effective collaboration across the company. This is a hybrid position based in Frankfurt, Germany, with NVISO offices in Frankfurt, Munich, and Vienna.
