Key responsibilities include preparing and delivering monthly financial and management accounts, leading the annual plan process with the Plant Controller and Site Director, and maintaining strong controls across inventory and capital expenditure. The role owns product costing and standard costs, conducts monthly balance sheet reconciliations, and manages the annual physical inventory process. It also supports cost improvement programs, performs variance analysis against Plan, and provides project financial evaluation and oversight. Additional duties include supporting and enhancing the Project Management System, maintaining RCEs with governance, ensuring SOX compliance, contributing to the plant’s operating rhythm, delivering site induction training, and offering financial guidance to colleagues. Qualifications include a Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA or ACMA) with a minimum of four years’ experience in a financial/accounting role. This is an 18-month fixed-term contract with opportunities to transition to a permanent position.
