Google Beam is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Audio to own end-to-end audio signal-processing software pipelines from design through implementation and validation. You will collaborate with audio performance validation teams (hardware and software) and contribute to planning and design for the overall audio roadmap. You will identify and drive cross-functional opportunities and help push product innovation and reliability forward.

Qualifications: Minimum: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience; 5 years of experience with software development in C++; experience owning an audio subsystem from design through implementation and validation; experience in development of real-time, resource-limited audio-processing pipelines. Preferred: Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field; experience developing spatial audio, 3D audio rendering, or ambisonics algorithms to create immersive soundscapes; experience working with WebRTC or other real-time network streaming protocols optimized for low-latency audio trans
