AECOM is seeking a highly motivated Data Scientist to support the Quantity Surveying and Cost Management teams in the Dubai, United Arab Emirates office. This role is part of AECOM’s 24-month Advanced Graduate Program, designed to develop future leaders through structured learning and mentoring with industry experts. In alignment with Emiratisation, only UAE Nationals with a family book will be considered for this role, and the position is fully NAFIS eligible. Responsibilities include providing digital support for quantity surveying and cost management, integrating digital workflows into standard practices, and enhancing cost planning, control, and value engineering using digital platforms. You will maintain and enrich databases, generate information-rich reports and dashboards, and develop automation scripts to improve efficiency. Additional duties include data collection and analysis to provide actionable insights, training team members on digital tools, staying current with emerging technologies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to foster innovation. Qualifications include a degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Digital Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related fields (minimum GPA 2.8). Required technical skills include Python, SQL, Power BI, experience with BIM tools (Revit, Navisworks, ACC, Solibri, Aconex) and CostX, and proficiency in developing automation tools (Dynamo, Python, VBA).
