Technical Program Manager, Power Infrastructure Delivery

This is an on-site position based in Reston, Virginia, United States. Technical Program Manager, Power Infrastructure Delivery

This is an on-site position based in Reston, Virginia, United States. Google is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead large-scale, multi-disciplinary power infrastructure projects for data centers, including the integration of High Voltage (HV) and Medium Voltage (MV) utility infrastructure with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and power generation technologies.

Responsibilities

Qualifications: Minimum: Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or related field; licensed/chartered PE or equivalent; 8 years of experience in program or technical project management in the energy industry; experience with transmission and distribution, substations, or mission-critical infrastructure; familiarity with HV/MV/LV and energy management and smarter grid solutions. Preferred: PE license focusing on Electrical Power or Mechanical Systems; demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts to VP-level execut

Manage the design and engineering of campus-level infrastructure solutions, coordinating with cross-functional partners and resolving challenges to deliver on schedule.
Bridge commercial acquisition and technical operations by ensuring all project activities, methodologies, and deliverables comply with NERC, FERC codes, and applicable regulations.
Define a global reference architecture for on-site power generation that optimizes cost, reliability, and carbon reduction.
Evaluate emerging power technologies and build rigorous business cases to support major capital investments.
