EBS Sp. z o.o., a Polish technology company that is part of Alarm.com, is seeking a Senior iOS Software Engineer to lead the design and development of the Alarm.com iOS application used by millions of customers. In Krakow, we are building a new team and operate on a hybrid work model with in-office days and the option to work remotely occasionally. Key responsibilities include leading the design and development of complex iOS features, owning the full project lifecycle from requirements to delivery, architecting real-time video capabilities using iOS media technologies and streaming protocols such as RTSP, WebRTC, and SRTP. You will deliver responsive, performant, and maintainable experiences using SwiftUI while integrating with UIKit and legacy surfaces where appropriate. Define and champion best practices for platform consistency, reliability, and observability across the iOS codebase. Drive research, evaluation, and adoption of new iOS technologies and methodologies to solve complex project goals and improve code quality. Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews, design discussions, architecture guidance, and pair programming. Contribute to cross-functional architecture decisions that affect multiple teams and long-term mobile platform direction. Exercise strong technical judgment, balancing delivery speed with durable, scalable solutions.
