This on-site role, based in Lyon, France, sits in the Logistics Business team. Responsibilities include: - Develop new software features to enhance Exotec systems. - Understand our clients’ logistics needs to propose software solutions that achieve the desired performance and robustness. - Conduct testing to validate software and features. - Create a deployable software environment and oversee deployment at client sites. - Collaborate with the entire R&D team to advance projects.
Qualifications: - Engineering degree or Bac+3-level education with a specialization in computer science or industrial informatics. - Strong understanding of warehouse management software (WMS, WCS, or WEC). - Proficient in Java Spring Boot development. - Experience in an industrial setting combining hardware and software is a plus. - Ability to contribute to architectural decisions and future evolutions. - Enjoys technical, demanding environments and solving complex problems. - Able to supervise junior Software R&D Engineers. - Operational English.
