The Corporate Accountant is a key member of the accounting team and is responsible for supporting general ledger accounting and month-end close activities for Sage Publications. This role supports the Senior Manager, US GAAP Accounting by interpreting and applying established accounting policies and U.S. GAAP principles to analyze account activity, prepare timely journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and supporting schedules, and to resolve assigned accounting matters. The position requires two to four years of accounting experience, a working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, and the ability to manage assigned accounting responsibilities while supporting accurate and timely month-end close activities. The Corporate Accountant collaborates with cross-functional teams on accounting matters, supports audit requests, and assists with general ledger account maintenance and finance system coordination.
