Product Test Engineer – Broxburn, West Lothian, United Kingdom
Ooni is seeking a Product Test Engineer to join our New Product Development team. This hands-on role owns product testing across the development lifecycle—from concept exploration and prototype evaluation to full verification, validation, and production readiness. You will work closely with Mechanical and Design engineers testing products throughout verification, and you will also carry out structured testing of competitor products to benchmark performance and identify strengths and weaknesses in the market.

What you’ll do: - Testing & Verification: Own, execute, and evolve test plans; push products to their limits to uncover issues early; document findings. - Test Method Development: Create new test methods to keep pace with our ambitious product roadmap. - Data Analysis & Insight: Analyze test data and provide actionable insights for the NPD team. - Test Equipment Design: Design or commission test equipment to enable accurate testing of durability and functionality. - Regulatory Awareness: Stay up to date on relevant regulations and ensure products meet international market requirements. - Continuous Learning: Collaborate with a supportive team to grow technical and practical testing capabilities.
What you’ll need: - Experience testing products and documenting results. - Strong engineering fundamentals. - Practical experience testing hardware and rapid prototypes. - Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering o
