Ciklum is looking for a Senior Automation QA Engineer to join our team as a full-time member based in Oslo, Norway, with remote work options. This role supports a cloud-native system that manages the entire credit lifecycle for a global financial services provider, built on a modern tech stack and cloud infrastructure, and serving hundreds of thousands of active credit card customers. The project aims to consolidate technology delivery to a single partner to drive efficiency and operational excellence. Responsibilities include developing test automation architecture and implementing UI and API automation frameworks from scratch; evaluating existing automation solutions and driving improvements within Agile product teams; managing CI/CD pipelines, including automated builds, unit testing, and environment-parameterised deployments with managed release lifecycles; collaborating closely with architects, developers, and analysts to build a quality assurance community; and mentoring team members. Requirements include proficient experience with Appium and WebDriverIO (TypeScript), Postman, Newman, and YAML; proficiency in Azure DevOps, AWS, and Docker; solid programming skills in Java, JavaScript, Python, .NET, or C#; ability to use PowerShell scripting, command-line, and regular expressions (Regex); a solid understanding of SCRUM and Agile methodologies; and excellent communication, mentoring, and consultative skills with a high attention to detail.
