StarTekk is seeking an experienced Release Engineer/Release Manager to support the build and release lifecycle of a modern cloud-based, customer-facing application. This on-site role in Chicago, Illinois, United States requires collaboration with Scrum Teams, QA, Product Owners, Infrastructure, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality releases for global users. The ideal candidate has extensive experience managing enterprise releases, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and AWS cloud technologies in Agile environments.

Responsibilities

Qualifications:

Manage and coordinate end-to-end release cycles across development, QA, UAT, and production environments.
Monitor CI/CD pipelines to ensure successful builds and deployments.
Create and manage UAT and production release plans.
Coordinate release readiness activities with QA, Infrastructure, Product, and Business teams.
Facilitate Scrum-of-Scrums meetings and manage release cadence.
Troubleshoot build and deployment issues.
Support DevOps activities and cloud infrastructure operations.
Improve deployment processes, automation, release quality, and delivery timelines.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required; 10+ years of IT Release Management/Delivery Management experience typical; 8+ years with Master's degree.
Experience with multiple Scrum teams; Release Manager, Scrum Master, Program Manager, or Project Coordinator experience acceptable.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; strong presentation and communication skills; ability to support flexible working
