Schuberg Philis is seeking a Senior .NET Software Engineer for an on-site, Rotterdam-based role to design, build, and deploy mission-critical software. You will contribute to end-to-end development, creating frontend and backend APIs that enable the integration of core processes. You will join a client team with opportunities to grow technically, functionally, and personally, and you will work directly with clients, take responsibility for team dynamics, and foster a collaborative environment. Strong planning, organizational, and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to connect the client with the engineering team to deliver exceptional results. Required experience includes software architecture, analysis and design, developing, releasing, and maintaining high-quality software products and services, and writing reusable, testable code for backend systems and frontend APIs in an event-driven architecture. Proficiency with .NET Core (C#) and Web API (C#) and Azure cloud services (e.g., Azure App Service, API Management, Data Factory, Monitor, App Insights) is expected. Nice-to-have experience includes on-premises and public cloud (AWS, Azure), Infrastructure as Code (ARM, Bicep), large distributed systems, Scrum/Agile/DevOps, CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., SonarQube, Renovate, AZDO, GitHub, unit testing), and experience in financial services and regulated environments.
