Newport News Nuclear BWXT Los Alamos (N3B) is seeking a Project Manager to oversee CAM/PMs and ensure effective planning, execution, and delivery of projects under the Los Alamos Legacy Cleanup Contract with the U.S. Department of Energy, Office of Environmental Management. The role coordinates all technical activities to meet project requirements and deadlines, while managing resources, stakeholders, and risks. Responsibilities include developing baselines for scope, schedule, and budgets; overseeing project activities and task execution; leading and motivating the project management team; managing stakeholder communications and expectations; identifying and mitigating risks; controlling costs and ensuring adherence to the budget; monitoring progress using EVMS and coordinating with project controls; ensuring deliverables meet quality standards and maintaining comprehensive project documentation. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree with 15 years of related experience; PMP or equivalent certification is preferred; extensive experience with EVMS, change management, lifecycle cost analysis, and government contracting is essential.
