The role requires developing and managing strategic plans, budgets, and sales initiatives; forecasting future demand, volume, and revenue to meet targets; and expanding opportunities by building and maintaining relationships with existing and new customers. You will collaborate with other departments to promote the product line and ensure ongoing customer satisfaction, manage day-to-day account activity, address issues, and improve market intelligence by analyzing supply and demand. Responsibilities also include negotiating pricing and volume with customers, allocating products when demand exceeds supply, overseeing order-entry systems and carrier logistics, and conducting weekly market checks to evaluate profitability. Minimum qualifications: a four-year degree in Business or related field (or equivalent experience); at least five years of fresh produce sales experience; strong communication and negotiation skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office; knowledge of produce logistics; and the ability to grow a business and manage priorities.
