STCU is seeking a Financial Analyst II in Accounting and Finance to join our team in Liberty Lake, Washington. This hybrid role performs in-depth financial analyses to support business decisions, prepares financial reports for the Board of Directors, Leadership Team, and external regulatory entities, and forecasts the balance sheet and income statement in alignment with the strategic plan. The analyst supports all areas of the finance department and utilizes SQL, data warehouse, and data visualization tools to extract, compile, analyze, and present data effectively. Responsibilities include managing a primary function such as interest rate risk modeling, loans, deposits, or income statement forecasting, ensuring processes are completed on time, and implementing efficiencies for continuous improvement. Additional duties include accurately budgeting balance sheet and/or income statement general ledger accounts, partnering with internal departments, cross-training, ensuring GAAP compliance, and contributing to organizational success with timely, professional communication. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and a minimum of two years' experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a financial institution or public accounting. Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams) and experience with SQL and data warehouses are preferred.
