About the role

voestalpine Railway Systems Nortrak is North America’s premier designer and manufacturer of special trackwork and a subsidiary of voestalpine AG. We are seeking a six-week temporary Recruiter to join our team. This position may be based at any of our plant locations and will support recruitment activities across the organization for the duration of the assignment.

Purpose of the position Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Human Resources, the Recruiter will partner with department managers to define role requirements, post jobs, evaluate applicants, and guide talent through the interview process.

Responsibilities - Stay current with industry trends and innovative sourcing strategies to identify qualified candidates. - Develop creative sourcing methods to attract top talent. - Communicate effectively with candidates to engage them throughout the recruiting cycle. - Screen applications and shortlist qualified candidates for interviews. - Coordinate the interview process with hiring managers. - Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies. - Adhere to Affirmative Action Plan requirements in hiring. - Coordinate pre-employment testing and background checks. - Manage sourcing and screening to reduce time-to-hire for all roles. - Follow up diligently after interviews. - Use the recruiting guide and question catalog to develop interview questions. - Perform applicable background checks. - Adhere to all voestalpine Nortrak safety policies and procedures.
