Overview: Hilton's Curio Collection is seeking an Outside Sales Manager to secure group and convention business and drive revenue for the hotel. The ideal candidate will build and maintain relationships with meeting planners, corporate clients and intermediaries, and work to maximize hotel revenue across all revenue streams.

Responsibilities

Research, solicit and generate new leads for group opportunities; maximize room revenue and meet or exceed lead-generation goals
Represent the hotel to develop market segments and cultivate new client relationships while maintaining existing accounts
Develop business strategies by analyzing market trends and implementing marketing initiatives to maximize lead revenue and meet sales targets
Demonstrate strong sales, communication and networking skills; qualify, negotiate and close new revenue opportunities
Manage customer and account relationships and deliver clear value to Hilton and its customers
Prospect, plan and execute calls; identify potential clients
Negotiate contracts and commissions with end-user customers and intermediaries
Coordinate with Hilton Worldwide Sales, Convention Bureau and intermediaries to retain existing business and secure new opportunities
Plan and execute outside sales calls, tradeshows and customer events
Maintain an up-to-date pipeline and develop monthly, quarterly and annual business plans
Prepare proposals and contracts; coordinate room, food & beverage and meetin
