Sales Tax Accountant is based at Hilton's corporate office in Memphis, Tennessee. This role is part of the Finance Team responsible for global activities related to financial performance, accounting, tax, forecasting, risk management and asset management. As a Sales Tax Accountant on the Transaction Tax team, you will focus on the compliance of sales, use and transient occupancy tax returns, evaluate data to file accurate tax returns, and assist with research, audits and planning projects.

What you'll do: - Prepare, research, and file multiple sales, occupancy, use, telecom, liquor and other use tax returns for multiple jurisdictions. - Maintain a tax calendar or automated workflow with due dates and registration numbers to ensure all returns are filed. - Analyze exemptions monthly to determine compliance with laws and rules.
