Arcesium is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Infrastructure Engineering organization in New York, NY on a hybrid schedule. You will own and operate reliable, well-instrumented infrastructure services that support our customer-facing applications and internal platforms, built on AWS and Linux. Responsibilities include strengthening the compute platform with AWS and Kubernetes, building automated tools to streamline processes and reduce toil (leveraging modern tooling and GenAI where appropriate), taking ownership of critical infrastructure across multiple technologies, and driving engineering best practices with measurable metrics. This role operates within the broader Infrastructure organization and requires strong systems thinking, initiative, and collaboration. Qualifications include 3-5+ years of relevant infrastructure experience; a track record of owning critical infrastructure and delivering features that improve reliability and efficiency (e.g., Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, DNS, authentication services); proficiency in at least one language in our polyglot environment (Python, Java, Go, Bash); experience running workloads in AWS; the ability to balance delivery with correctness; strong collaboration and communication skills; curiosity and initiative.
