This full-time, on-site position is based in San Antonio, Texas. Responsibilities include managing the movement of cars into and out of the Inspection Center, achieving daily, weekly, and monthly production targets, and ensuring adherence to quality standards. The Team Lead oversees day-to-day activities, coaches and develops hourly associates, communicates expectations and performance measures, resolves conflicts, and promotes a safe, collaborative work environment aligned with Carvana’s values. You will review identified mechanical and physical defects, partner with the Inspection Center General Manager to decide whether to repair or reject inventory based on estimated cost and overall quality, and train staff on Quality Control standards to minimize rework and delays. The role requires lifting up to 60 pounds, standing for extended periods, and willingness to work overtime and weekends in a shop environment that may be cold, hot, wet, or noisy. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, computer skills, a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, and the ability to delegate tasks, communicate effectively, multitask, and operate within lean processes.
