Senior Software Engineer - .NET role in Baltimore, Maryland, United States, with a hybrid work arrangement (in-office three days per week in Baltimore). InVita develops specialized medical software for regulated industries and is seeking a developer to participate in the full software development lifecycle of our DNA software platform. Responsibilities include designing, developing, testing, and deploying software; enhancing performance and interfaces; validating software, troubleshooting, and collaborating with internal teams on software system design and maintenance. Essential Functions: Participate in software development using Agile/Scrum methodologies; Deliver project and program results; participate in release activities; Lead and collaborate in a team environment with partners in the US, Canada, and internationally; Plan and coordinate multiple tasks to meet deadlines amid changing priorities; Gather product requirements and specifications; participate in code reviews; develop and execute unit and integration tests; Perform defect root cause analysis and provide resolutions; Provide timely support to the QA team; Mentor other Software Engineers on the team; Accurately estimate technical effort required to deliver tasks; Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Development, or related field; 5+ years of .NET experience; deep knowledge of .NET with WinForms; expertise in C#, VB.NET; Experience with SQL Server (design, development, queries, stored procedures); ORM tools (Entity Framework); Experience with version control
