Abnormal AI is hiring a Software Engineer I for the Data Platform team. This is a remote position (Remote OK) in the United States. You will contribute to the design, development, and operation of core components of Abnormal’s data platform, build tools and services to help other teams adopt and scale data systems, and help automate infrastructure to improve reliability and performance. You will work with technologies including PostgreSQL, OpenSearch/Elasticsearch, Redis, RocksDB, DynamoDB, Kafka, Spark, Airflow, and DBT, and you will gain exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS and Databricks. You’ll apply GenAI techniques to build smarter developer and operator experiences, collaborate across engineering teams to solve scalability and reliability challenges, and own features end-to-end with guidance from senior engineers.
