Speechify is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its Core Experiences Team in Ghent, Belgium (Remote OK). This role focuses on building and maintaining foundational services and cross-platform SDKs that power Speechify's product experience across platforms.
What you will do - Collaborate with Product teams to scope projects, streamline scope for faster customer feedback, and deliver cross-platform SDK solutions. - Optimize existing functionality to enable faster loading and smarter parsing by designing efficient abstractions and improving algorithms. - Ship cloud functions, lightweight backend services, and jobs using Kotlin.

Preferred Tech Stack - Kotlin Multiplatform (Java experience is okay, but focus is on Kotlin Multiplatform) - Prior experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a plus
