Speechify is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Core Experiences Team in Cork, Ireland. This role focuses on building and maintaining foundational services and cross-platform SDKs that power Speechify’s product experience across platforms. You will collaborate with product teams to scope projects, design scalable APIs, and ship cloud functions and lightweight backend services using Kotlin, while optimizing performance. Ideal candidates think in systems, move quickly, stay focused in a high-growth, remote environment, and collaborate effectively with designers, marketers, and PMs. Preferred experience includes Kotlin Multiplatform (Java experience is acceptable) and Google Cloud Platform knowledge.
