You will help build secure, reliable payments solutions for buyers and sellers across Europe, ensuring smooth money movement, ledger functionality, and integrated reporting to support business logic and high-integrity operations across the Vinted Marketplace. You will join a team of 4-6 engineers plus an engineering manager, product manager, and decision scientist, and you will apply Agile and Lean principles, selecting Scrum, Kanban, or other methodologies as appropriate. You will collaborate with peers through GitHub pull requests and code reviews, with fast review cycles. You will use AI tools to improve code quality. You will deploy changes to production multiple times per day and see your work affect millions of users. The tech stack includes Ruby, AWS, MySQL, Elasticsearch, Redis, Temporal, and monitoring via Prometheus and Grafana; you are not expected to master all from day one but should be excited to learn quickly. You will write unit tests and contribute to integration and end-to-end tests, and own critical alerts and business metrics to ensure 99.99% availability.
