You will design, build, and maintain scalable software and AI-powered capabilities for the Dayforce HCM platform, working across the full software development lifecycle including architecture, prototyping, implementation, testing, deployment, and production operations. Responsibilities include building microservices and APIs, architecting distributed systems for scalability and reliability, implementing robust testing, monitoring, and observability, and leveraging AI-assisted development tools while upholding security and responsible AI practices. You will collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, Designers, and Engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions, mentor peers through code reviews and design discussions, and contribute to engineering standards and best practices. Candidates should have strong Python experience, cloud-native/SaaS development experience, API design, Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD, and experience with Azure or other major cloud platforms. Experience with AI tooling and a focus on responsible AI within software workflows is valued. This is a remote role based in the United States.
