Reserv is seeking a Claims Team Lead for trucking (BI/PD) to be a working leader supporting the claims manager with leadership and technical responsibilities. You will oversee the Commercial Transportation Claims adjusting staff and focus on operational effectiveness by leveraging technology and analytics to improve efficiency and performance. This role balances leadership duties with individual contributor work when volume dictates.

What you will do: - Lead and coach the claims team; switch between handling claims and providing coaching/feedback - Implement and maintain best practices for claims handling across intake, investigation, evaluation, settlement, and recovery - Align the team with client and customer expectations; serve as a resource for escalated claims - Prepare and present comprehensive claims reports, metrics, and analyses; advise clients on trends and loss mitigation - Manage onboarding tasks and new hire immersion; act as SME for first-line questions; lead or co-lead workshops - Increase reserve and payment authority for moderate reviews - Foster a positive, remote-first work environment; promote teamwork and professional development - Attract, hire, retain, and train staff with leadership support - Support continuous improvement and drive reductions in administrative tasks for adjusters
