Edgewater Federal Solutions is seeking a SAP Solutions Architect to support SAP data migration for a major national laboratory. This remote, client-side role leads the data workstream across multiple domains, acts as the client authority on SAP data migration, and collaborates with the Systems Integrator to ensure a robust, compliant S/4HANA migration. Responsibilities include reviewing and challenging the SI's data migration approach, advising on greenfield S/4HANA data models and source to target mapping from non SAP sources (Oracle EBS, JD Edwards, PeopleSoft, or custom systems), selecting tooling, coordinating day to day execution, maintaining the task plan, facilitating working sessions with data owners, and driving issue resolution. Additional focus areas include data cleansing standards, load cycles and reconciliation, governance, compliance and cutover planning, and hypercare support. The ideal candidate will have 15+ years leading enterprise SAP data migration, at least 4 full lifecycle S/4HANA programs, U.S. citizenship, and deep hands on experience migrating from non SAP sources into SAP across FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, WM, HR/HCM, EAM, and Master Data. Strong knowledge of SAP data models, data migration methodology, and regulatory frameworks such as HIPAA, SOC 2, PCI DSS, GDPR, FedRAMP, or equivalents is essential, as is the ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership and technical teams.
