Slice is seeking a Staff Software Developer to join its Services team. This role is open to applicants across the UK on a remote basis, with a physical office in Belfast, Northern Ireland. You will design, code, and launch backend features and services that help restaurant partners operate more efficiently and deliver exceptional experiences to customers. You will own projects end-to-end, collaborating with product and design teams to define solutions, execute rapidly, and iterate based on feedback. Our primary stack includes Python (Flask), but we welcome the flexibility to work with other technologies as needed (Go, Ruby, or new cloud services) to solve problems at scale. You’ll work in a small, agile team of 5–8 backend engineers across the US, UK, and Europe, reviewing code, sharing ideas, and maintaining a collaborative, high‑performance environment.
