Abacus Insights is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale IT implementations in the US healthcare payer space within Abacus Insights PMO. You will manage multiple projects across cross-functional teams to translate client requirements into deliverables, maintain schedules, and ensure quality. Apply standard PMO practices across schedule management, risk management, communications, and stakeholder engagement to improve delivery predictability and cross-functional accountability. Own integrated project scheduling, risk and issue management, capacity planning, and regular status reporting. Facilitate regular status meetings to maintain project health visibility and escalate risks and dependencies as needed. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience leading technically complex IT programs, with 8+ years in a dedicated PMO role, and hands-on healthcare IT implementation experience with payer focus. Experience in Agile and hybrid delivery, and fluency across software development, data engineering, system integration, QA, and architecture. Hands-on experience with Smartsheet, Jira, and AI-enabled tools to support scheduling, backlog coordination, RAID tracking, and stakeholder reporting. Preferred qualifications include US healthcare payer experience (including Medicaid), PMP/PRINCE2 or equivalent Agile certification such as CSM.
