You will address cross-team engineering challenges to design and build the systems that power real-time trading, market data delivery, and brokerage integrations—systems used by thousands of active traders with real money on the line. In this role you will primarily work in a modern .NET stack, building cloud-native services that handle high-throughput workloads, with occasional work across the stack in a React/TypeScript frontend. This position is about more than shipping features; you will influence architectural decisions, establish engineering standards, and ensure the platform scales reliably as we grow. You will own your systems end-to-end, from initial design through production operations, and contribute to technical strategy, mentorship, and the definition of engineering excellence at Topstep.
