Senior AI/LLM Engineer (HealthTech) – Remote from Kyiv, Ukraine

We are building AI-powered capabilities such as real-time transcription and automated documentation to help hearing care professionals spend more time with patients. As a Senior AI/LLM Engineer, you will develop LLM capabilities for our client’s enterprise software used by audiology clinics and hospitals. AI is moving from pilots into production on the roadmap, so you will ship features that run in a regulated, patient-data environment.

Tech environment: C# / .NET 8.0, Azure Services (Azure SQL, AI Search, Service Bus, App Insights), Azure AI Foundry, Docker, Kubernetes, with growing use of Python for AI tooling. We build AI-first with Claude / Claude Code.

In this role you will: - Build and ship LLM features: retrieval (RAG), agents, tool use, and structured output, integrated into our .NET services. - Own quality: create evaluation sets, measure changes, and catch regressions before customers see them. - Run production features: manage latency and cost per request, caching, fallbacks, monitoring, and alerting. - Build guardrails: prompt-injection defence, PII handling, output validation, and audit trails. - Create reusable building blocks for other product teams. - Collaborate with product teams and architects to select the right tool; sometimes a simple rule beats a model. - Work AI-first: use Claude / Claude Code in daily development to design, build, and test faster. - Participate in a remote scrum team: sprint ceremonies, PR reviews, and knowledge sharing.
