About the role

Engineering Manager is needed to join the pre-opening team at Four Seasons Resort and Residences AMAALA at Triple Bay, Saudi Arabia. Reporting to the Director of Engineering, you will oversee the daily maintenance and operational efficiency of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety systems, ensuring the resort operates to the highest standards of safety, comfort, and luxury.

Responsibilities

Manage and supervise the daily activities of the engineering and maintenance team, ensuring tasks are completed promptly and professionally.

Conduct regular inspections of all areas to ensure systems are operating efficiently and safely.

Oversee preventive maintenance programs for guest rooms, public areas, kitchens, pools, and all critical systems (HVAC, MEP, etc.).

Ensure compliance with local health, safety, fire life safety, and building codes.

Respond swiftly to guest requests, maintenance issues, and emergencies, minimizing downtime and service interruptions.

Manage department budgets, monitor energy consumption, and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.

Train, motivate, and develop the engineering team to uphold Four Seasons standards.

Support pre-opening setup including equipment installation, system testing, and operational readiness.

Requirements

Degree or diploma in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related technical field.
Minimum of 5 years in engineering operations, with 2 years in a leadership role; ideally in luxury hotels or resorts.
