Overview: You will own the technical direction and delivery of a product initiative within our AI operations platform for retail and CPG enterprises. You will write production code, review PRs, make architecture calls, and set the engineering standards your team rallies around. This is not a management role; your leadership is rooted in technical credibility and active presence in the codebase. You will run 1:1s with engineers on your initiative, help define staffing, and participate in interview loops. You will be accountable for the technical quality, velocity, and direction of your initiative. The Engineering Manager handles people management, not the Tech Lead, so you should be clear on this distinction before applying. We are a growing product team scaling into multiple initiatives, each with a lead and a small engineering and design audience. You will lead one of these initiatives.

What we're looking for: These are non-negotiables—the things we'll evaluate you on: Shipping and ownership; Technical leadership; AI/ML product literacy; Product judgment; Initiative ownership; Judgment under pressure. You will also have security and reliability mindset, UI/UX sensibility, and the ability to operate as a full-stack generalist. Deep applied LLM experience is a plus.
