About the role

Waters Corporation is seeking a dynamic Senior System Account Manager to drive sales of our full range of products and services, including Ultra Performance Liquid Chromatography (UPLC) systems, Mass Spectrometers, software, consumables, and services for the Southeast Region, covering central and western North Carolina. The successful candidate will develop and execute a territorial business plan, collaborate with assigned specialists and marketing colleagues, and deliver a strong call cycle and business development activities. The role centers on understanding customer needs to design solutions with lasting and meaningful impact.

Responsibilities

Qualifications:

Meet or exceed sales targets
Maintain installed-base customer satisfaction
Aggressively develop new prospects and penetrate competitive accounts
Visit customers daily to highlight Waters solutions and help resolve technical obstacles
Build technical competency on Waters solutions and be perceived as a credible resource
Maintain knowledge of vertical market dynamics, application trends, and other critical business information
Provide information to marketing to create business development programs
Fully utilize Sales Contact Management Tools and applications
Submit accurate and timely monthly sales forecasts
Develop business through monthly action plans
Education: Bachelor\'s, Master\'s, or PhD in scientific fields such as chemistry, biology, or biochemistry
Experience: 3+ years chromatography experience; UPLC, Mass Spec; field sales and/or marketing a plus
