You will serve as a full-stack product engineer responsible for taking AI-native ideas from rough prototype to production, interfacing with real clinical users in a regulated healthcare product. You will design systems, integrate LLM APIs and SDKs, and build evaluation datasets to measure and improve performance, while shaping the user experience. This role requires partnering with product, design, and clinical operations to identify high-value AI opportunities and determine where AI acts autonomously versus when human oversight is required, with safety and compliance built in from day one. Responsibilities include delivering end-to-end features, building observability and evals, exposing prototypes to users early, and iterating toward production readiness. The ideal candidate has at least 4+ years of engineering experience, strong full-stack capabilities, experience integrating AI into shipped products, a strong product sense, and the ability to thrive in ambiguity. Nice-to-haves include a CS degree, experience in regulated environments (HIPAA, SOC 2), hands-on work with retrieval-augmented generation, and familiarity with TypeScript/Node/React.
