Backend Developer (Java/Kotlin) – Remote. RSB Automotive Consulting is seeking an experienced Backend Developer (Java/Kotlin) to join a remote project for one of its clients. Start date ASAP; contract duration 3 months with possibility of extension; occasional travel to Germany. Responsibilities: Develop and own backend services using Java or Kotlin, from architecture design through deployment; design and implement scalable microservices based on Spring Boot; make technical decisions and contribute to backend architecture; design and implement workflow automation solutions using Camunda BPMN; model and optimize relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL); build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions. Requirements: Several years of professional backend development experience with Java or Kotlin; strong practical knowledge of Spring Boot; hands-on experience with Camunda BPMN and process automation; experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL), including query optimization; experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions; basic knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes; good command of English (German a plus).
