Senior Java Developer – Acentra Health (Remote OK, Lansing, Michigan, United States)

Acentra Health is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join our growing team. The role supports technology decisions to transform software development, increase developer productivity, and improve the delivery timeline of our solutions for customers in the healthcare space.

Responsibilities

Work with Product teams to develop highly scalable, flexible, and resilient software solutions that accelerate delivery.
Partner with system architects and product owners to re-architect products for serverless containerized cloud frameworks.
Act as a key participant in development and transformation efforts to boost developer productivity and improve delivery timelines.
Ensure code quality, application security, accessibility, and 508 compliance.
Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to developers; mentor and onboard new talent.
Support business development activities, create and maintain artifacts, templates, and documentation; work with Development and Business Analysis teams to understand system design and function.
Develop templates per system design and coding standards; perform unit testing.
Read, understand, and adhere to corporate policies including HIPAA privacy and security rules.
Participate in proofs of concept and new initiatives, and adapt to evolving requirements.

Requirements

BS in Computer Science or related field and 5+ years of software development experience.
3+ years of Provider Domain knowledge.
7+ years of Java, Angular, and related development exper
